LexMed
AI-powered hearing prep and appeals for SSD attorneys
About LexMed
LexMed builds AI tools for Social Security disability attorneys, founded by Nick Coleman, a practicing SSD attorney with more than 1,000 hearings behind him.
Before the hearing, LexMed's pipeline turns a raw ERE file into a citation-linked pre-hearing brief: a medical chronology pulled from Sections A and F, a ChartVision analysis covering theory of the case and RFC strategy, and a brief aligned to the five-step sequential analysis.
After an unfavorable decision, the ALJ Audit analyzes the decision against more than 100 SSA regulations, grades every error by severity, and generates an Appeals Council brief that argues from those graded errors. Hyperlinked citations to the CFR, SSRs, HALLEX, and Listings eliminate manual lookup.
What LexMed does
- Medical chronology from the ERE
- ChartVision case analysis with Listings, SSRs, and RFC strategy
- Citation-linked pre-hearing briefs
- ALJ decision audits with graded error severity
- Auto-generated Appeals Council briefs
How it works with Chronicle
LexMed runs from inside the Chronicle case file.
- Open a denied case in Chronicle, click the AC Brief tab, and request a LexMed brief
- LexMed analyzes the decision against more than 100 regulations
- The audit and AC Brief auto-save to the Chronicle case file in 5 to 10 minutes
- Pre-hearing pipeline products run the same way, with results delivered to the same case view
Works with a standard Chronicle account and an API key generated in Chronicle settings.
