Chronicle blocks self-deletion. Ask another admin or manager on your team to archive your account if needed.
Remove a team member
Firm admins and managers can archive a team member from the Your Team page in Settings. Archiving removes the user from the firm and prevents them from signing in. This action is permanent from the UI and cannot be undone without support assistance.
Before you start
Only managers and admins can view the team page. The archive action is available inside the Edit Team Member modal. You cannot archive your own account.
Archive a team member
In Chronicle, go to Settings > Team.
Find the team member in the list and open the row menu.
Select Edit user.
In the Edit Team Member modal, click the red Archive User button.
Confirm the prompt titled Archive team member? and click Archive.
The user is archived immediately. They can no longer sign in, and the team table refreshes to show the change.
What happens next
Archived team members lose all access to the firm’s Chronicle account. If the person needs access again later, contact Chronicle support to discuss recovery options.
