2025 was a big year for Chronicle. We focused on one theme: turning SSA case work into a faster, more predictable and automated system for disability firms.
We now support over 100 firms. Along the way, we launched a number of new features including AI, integrations, reporting and workflow automation.
Thank you to every Chronicle user who requested and shared feedback to influence what we released this year. The platform improved because the community was vocal about the realities of running a modern disability firm.
Below is a detailed breakdown of what we were able to accomplish together, and a preview of what’s ahead in 2026.
AI & Document Automation Capabilities That Reduced Manual SSA Work
Two predictable bottlenecks greatly impact disability firms:
Delayed decisions
Slow case preparation
To alleviate this, Chronicle released two key features:
1. DDE Decision Detection

Chronicle now identifies initial and reconsideration decisions the moment they appear in the ERE.
With 99% AI extraction accuracy for decision data, we eliminate the legacy workflow of waiting for mailed decisions and give firms real-time visibility into critical case outcomes. This is a major step towards full case automation.
2. Impairment-Specific Medical Summaries

Through our collaboration with Dododetect, medical chronologies now include impairment-specific summaries across all impairment types.
This enables attorneys to reduce review time for large medical files, surface clinical patterns early in hearing prep, and improves context transfer across team members.
Integrations That Reduced Fragmentation
Aside from AI and document automation, Chronicle also made meaningful progress in expanding its connectedness with commonly used existing tools of disability firms.
1. LexMed AC Briefs Workflows

We now provide a seamless AC brief workflow with LexMed, automating everything about the assembly of appellate briefs except final attorney verification at the end.
This saves firms 4-6 hours per case and standardized quality across staff, turning a slow appellate task into a faster, more predictable one.
You can learn all about this new feature by reviewing the LexMed product launch blog post and event recording here.
2. Open API + Webhooks (Beta)

Chronicle created a new developer platform which includes endpoints for cases, documents, decisions, tasks and events.
This unlocked the ability for firms to build their own automations without waiting for native support, enabled integrations with tools like Superinsight and Benny, and reduces internal engineering overhead for larger practices.
There are many things that can be done now, such as creating custom automations like CE auto-reminder systems.
3. Salesforce + Litify Integration (Beta)
Chronicle’s Salesforce + Litify integration provides a bidirectional integration that syncs data every 15 minutes across status, CEs, documents and decisions.
This cuts duplicate case creation down, stabilizes data alignment between the ERE and SFDC, and enables workflow automation that previously required manual updates.
Reporting and Forecasting That Improved Case Visibility
At Chronicle, we’re big believers in what gets measured gets managed. Operational decisions improve only when teams have objective metrics. Reporting was rebuilt around that principle.
1. New Reporting Dashboard

Our new dashboard includes:
Win rates across all adjudication stages
Processing time metrics for intake, case development and hearing prep
Hearing timeline forecasting based on your firm’s history and case age
This is resulting in better staff allocation, earlier identification of workflow drag, and fewer surprises during peak case periods.
2. New Dashboard Cards

We also updated the home dashboard with more actionable cards for initial and recon decisions, recently scheduled hearings and other high-signal events.
This came from Chronicle user feedback to help in faster daily triage and instant visibility into workload shifts.
System Reliability and Workflow Updates That Reduced Operational Drag
Aside from all the other updates, we added quality of life improvements around everyday tasks.
1. Notes on Cases

With our new timeline-style notes system, firms can improve their internal context transfer, rely less on adhoc documentation for case history tracking.
2. Custom Client List Views

We overhauled this list view to feature dozens of new column options, such as AOD, DLI, decision status, ALJ, ME/VE info, and more.
Chronicle users can create fully personalized views
3. Speed & Reliability Improvements
Chronicle’s system capacity for ERE monitoring was 5X’ed this year, allowing for even faster checks, lower latency and higher throughput during peak SSA hours.
Dozens of behind-the-scenes upgrades improved stability for large firms and high-volume case processing.
Financial Automation Workflows & Monitoring
Payment monitoring has historically required manual checks and credential risk. Chronicle makes this better now with its latest feature for AARPS.
AARPS: Automated Fee Payment Monitoring (Beta)

Chronicle now monitors Title II and Title XVI fee payments through a secure credential system that takes less than five minutes to configure.
This helps firms eliminate daily payment checks, reduces missed payments, and provides finance teams with a clean, continuous cycle view.
Because the credential system is secure, it also eliminates the need to share personal login.gov credentials.
What Coming in 2026
Chronicle is just getting started when it comes to supporting disability firms in modernizing their SSA case work.
We’re working on:
AI-powered pre-hearing briefs and deeper case-prep automation
A complete task management system for workflows and deadlines
Deeper flexibility in notification configuration and alerts
Support for simultaneous cases across hearing and initial levels
A native Filevine integration built directly on the new open API
If you’re already a Chronicle customer, we thank you for your support this year.
If you haven’t yet tried Chronicle, 2026 is a great year to do so.
